First
signing on newly created label Fighter Records,
a division of Xtreem Music devoted
fo Heavy Metal, are swedish epic Metallers CANDLE!
CANDLE is
a new band emerged in 2015 by guitarrists Markus
Janis & Christian Kanto (both from
CORROSIVE CARCASS), who shared the same enthusiasm
for Heavy Metal. Soon after joined brothers Jorma
Pihlajainen (drums) and Juhani Pihlajainen
(bass) as well as vocalist Erik Nordkvist
with a very personal voice that perfectly fits
the context of the band.
Blending classic
influences that goes from the mighty MERCYFUL
FATE with a dose of old US Metal a la early SAVATAGE
and of course some NWOBHM a la early JUDAS PRIEST,
just to name a few, CANDLE created a haunting
and epic kind of classic Metal with which they
started to work wiriting songs for their debut
demo that was finally recorded during summer-fall
2016 and it's now officially released through
Fighter Records, while the band
is finishing work on their debut album due to
be recorded around spring-summer 2017.

15th through Fighter Records on
an initial limited run to 500 copies on CD format.

primer fichaje del recientemente creado sello
Fighter Records, una división
de Xtreem Music dedicado a Heavy
Metal, son los épicos Metaleros suecos
CANDLE!
CANDLE es una nueva
banda surgida en 2015 por los guitarristas Markus
Janis y Christian Kanto (ambos de CORROSIVE
CARCASS), quienes compartían el mismo entusiasmo
por el Heavy Metal. Pronso se les unieron los
hermanos Jorma Pihlajainen (batería)
y Juhani Pihlajainen (bajo) así
como el vocalista Erik Nordkvist con una
muy personal voz que perfectamente encaja en el
contexto de la banda.
Fusionando influencias
clásicas que van desde los míticos
MERCYFUL FATE con una dosis de viejo Metal americano
en plan primeros SAVATAGE y por supuesto algo
de NWOBHM en plan primeros JUDAS PRIEST, sólo
por nombrar algunos, CANDLE creó
un hechizante y épico estilo de Metal clásico
con el que comenzaron a trabajar en la composición
de temas para su demo debut que fue finalmente
grabada durante verano-otoño de 2016 y
es ahora oficialmente editada a través
de Fighter Records, mientras la
banda está finalizando el trabajo para
su álbum debut que está previsto
que sea grabado durante primavera-verano de 2017.
